Return Policies

We value our customers and want your shopping experience at Move Over Princess to be the absolute best! Return Information

     If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your in-stock purchase you may return your merchandise for store credit less the 20% restocking fee as well as the original shipping cost selected at checkout. You must contact the Move Over Princess Returns Department via returns@MoveOverPrincess.com within 2 days (business or non-business) of carrier notice to us of delivery of your order for a return authorization number. Our Returns Department operates 7 days a week and you should expect an authorization within 1-2 days, if approved. Merchandise must be postmarked within 2 business days of receiving a return authorization number from us. Merchandise returned without authorization or returned late will be refused or returned to the customer at the customer’s expense. Any upgraded processing charges will not be returned in any form. All original tags must be in place to receive credit for the return. All merchandise is carefully inspected before being accepted by our Returns Department. Any items returned to us that appear to have been worn, washed, or altered in any way will not receive credit in any form and will be returned back to the customer at the customers expense. Items with snags, rips, make-up stains, odors (i.e. perfume, cigarette smoke, deodorant) or other damages will result in the item being returned to the customer at the customers expense. If Free shipping method is selected, an additional $20 USD will be deducted from total amount of credit issued for approved return requests. All approved return requests will incur a 20% restocking fee, which will be deducted from the total amount of credit issued. The customer is solely responsible for return shipping arrangement and cost back to our showroom in California. If for any reason the customer refuses their shipment from Move Over Princess, an additional fee of $20 USD will be incurred. The entire Return Policy is subject to the "Exceptions to Return Policy" section below.

Exceptions to Return Policy: Sale Item/Closeout Item = Final Sale. There are no returns, exchanges or cancellations on any sale item or discounted merchandise (i.e. items with promotion code(s) applied). Special Order = Final Sale. There are no returns, exchanges or cancellations on any item that requires a special order. International Order = Final Sale. There are no returns, exchanges or cancellations on any item that is shipped to an address outside of the continental United States. If you received an item that was damaged, you may return it for a full refund providing all other terms of the return policy are followed.

Return Authorization: In order to return an item purchased from Move Over Princess you must contact us via e-mail to our Returns Department at returns@MoveOverPrincess.com and we will respond with your return authorization code if it meets our policies criteria mentioned in "Returns". Make sure to include the order number you received upon checkout in the return request e-mail. A return authorization will not be granted if requested after your wear/event date.

Restocking Fee: There is a 20% restocking fee for each eligible dress returned to Move Over Princess. 

Exchanges: While we return for store credit if item meets return criteria, we do not exchange items. If you need to exchange for a different item, for any reason, you will need to place a new order and your original item must be processed as a return. In order to use store credit from original item you must wait until we fully process your return and e-mail you your unique store credit number.

Store Credit: Store credit will be issued to customer after successfully completing the return process laid out in these terms and conditions. Store credit may not be used for shipping charges, standard or upgraded shipping will have to be paid for separately via credit card. Store credit serial numbers will only be issued one (1) time via e-mail from contact@MoveOverPrincess.com. Replacement serial numbers, which may be needed for any reason, will not be issued in any form from Move Over Princess, it is the sole responsibility of the customer to save and retain his/her unique serial number in order to use it for later purchases from Move Over Princess.
